A conversion of a 1300 SF full length basement of a Victorian home with very low headroom into a Japanese style Guest and Entertaining Suite.
Features include a Tatami Room, Audio/Visual Area, Wine Cellar, Stairs to the existing garage, a Study/Recreation Room, Bathroom, and Patio.
This conversion required extensive excavation, shoring, and foundation work to support the existing home and prevent undermining the adjacent uphill property.
This project was published in three Sunset Books and two magazines.
